Join us on Monday 16th July for the next in our 2018 TEDxOmaha Salon series titled Financial Literacy: A Terror of the Masses
This month we have two really great TED talks that are going to take us into the murky world of finance, crime, poverty and wealth, and get us to think about how our perception changed depending what lens we look through, what status we have, what social position we have, and what culture we live in. Join us in conversations and explorations of money – is it the root of all evil, does it drive us and determine our actions, if so where does that lead us?
Join in the conversation and join others in the community who are curious explorers, the TEDxOmaha Salons are free but you need to sign up at
For those new to the TEDxOmaha Salons, and a refresher for those who have not visited with us for a while, information on location, directions, parking and more is below.
LOCATION: The TEDxOmaha Salon is the third Monday of every month at Kaneko 1111 Jones St. Omaha NE 68102. The Salon will be hosted in SPACE 4, the room with Jun Kaneko’s work. Since the gallery is closed to the public on Monday, Kaneko would like everyone attending the TEDxOmaha Salon to enter from the WEST side of KANEKO through the Library entrance on 12th & Jones. This will put you right into the space as the room is accessible through the library. Adam Van Osdel the TEDxOmaha Salon host and other members of the TEDxOmaha team will be there to greet you and point you in the right direction
PARKING: There are a few metered spots alongside the building on Jones. Recommendation is to park at the garage on 10th & Jackson.
