Kenneth Bé is the paintings conservator for the Nebraska State Historical Society’s Gerald R. Ford Conservation Center in Omaha. Bé studied at Yale and earned graduate studies in geology at SUNY at Albany, New York, and art history and art conservation at New York University. After many years as a museum conservator for paintings in Cleveland, Bé moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he helps preserve and restore paintings across the Central Great Plains states.
He is also active in creating a public interest in early music and the lute, an instrument he has played and performed on for many decades.
