Brian M. Kelly, RA, is NCARB certified, a registered architect in the State of Nebraska and an assistant professor of architecture at the University of Nebraska’s College of Architecture. His teaching focus is in the areas of beginning design, design thinking and architectural representation theory.
Kelly’s academic writing and research has been recognized through national design awards and international publications, and his students’ work has been featured in numerous publications.
Prior to joining the faculty at UNL, Kelly was lead designer in the office of Randy Brown Architects, designing several regional and national award-winning projects of various types and scales. Additionally, he serves on the board of design alliance OMAha, Inc. (daOMA) and organizes PechaKucha Night Omaha events.
Kelly has also taught at Drury University’s Hammons School of Architecture in Springfield, Missouri, and California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
